They run a really great resort. I never felt I needed or wanted for anything, the grounds were cared for amazingly, and there was always somebody to help. We had a wonderful time. I went with my wife, her parents, her sisters (one of whom was pregnant), my brother-in-law, and our niece and nephew (both under three) and we had a great time. ANTONEL and CORNEL at the swim-up Kingston Bar - THANK YOU BOTH. To those reading this, do you need a good drink? A good time? These are the two you need. Thanks especially to Antonel, for the dairy-free dirty bananas. Get those on the menu!MORE RUM, MORE FUN. The entertainment is very good! Krystal and the steakhouse were amazing. Avoid the Japanese and Italian. Especially the Japanese. The rest of the food was good. For those of you who wonder about this stuff: The beds were great.

Had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely return. The entertainers were the highlight of the trip full of energy and always giving their all, which really made the stay memorable. The rooms were modern and comfortable, though the cleaning could have been a bit more thorough. The bar staff were excellent and went above and beyond, with plenty of drink options. My only downside was the food — there was a bit too much American influence for my taste. Being in Jamaica, I’d have liked to see more authentic Jamaican and Caribbean dishes, maybe even a dedicated speciality restaurant. Overall, a great stay.

The highlights: *45 min from the airport, the free Nexus shuttle was just fine *check-in was smooth and quick *resort is clean and well maintained *room was clean and comfortable and well stocked *the buffet was good, lots of options and it changed every day *drink service on the beach was very consistent *the staff are amazing and personable (get to know the bar staff at the sports bar, they made us feel important and they were fun to visit with in the evenings) *the al la carte restaurants were solid, especially the steakhouse The low lights: × the beach is terrible right in front of the resort, better to go to the Royalton next door where it is rockless and clear. × windy location, which made the water murky and rough to swim or float in on most days, best to go swimming first thing in the morning × Pepe's snack bar wasn't kept very well, very messy, dirty and the food wasn't great Can't comment on the pools as we don't ever swim in them. The entertainment was fine, but we don't book resorts based on entertainment. Overall, a great experience. Jamaican hospitality shines thru at this location. We wouldn't hesitate to go back some day.

First the positives The hotel is very clean The room cleaner was very good Drinks in room and at bars excellent choice Ala'carte Restaurants very good easy to book on App End smaller pool nice and plenty sunbeds Now the negatives The beach not great very rocky as its man made and lots of seaweed but they do try to keep it clean as possible. Now for the worst part of this hotel. THE NOISE it gets so so loud around the pools at about 3pm onwards. In ou 11 night stay they had 3 Foam party's in the pools at 3pm till 6pm and the noise is that loud we had to move away from the are as their was no way you could still lay down and relax. They bring out loud speakers and the so called DJ just shouts into the microphone its like something out of the 80s 90s in Falaraki or Benidorm. And some of the provocative actions the staff do and encourage the guests to do is definitely not appropriate. When they do not have the Foam party's they sometimes set up on the beach and again the noise is just far to loud. You want to relax on holiday especially in the afternoons not party all the time like Ibiza. Then we have the evenings. Well I have to say the entertainment team do work extremely hard on the shows and they are quite good. The problem again starts after they finish at 10:30pm After this just a bit of background music would be perfect to listen to and have a chat to people but NO the loud DJ and noise ramps up again either on the stage on the beach or round the pool again or in the sports bar going on until 1am sometimes.. We like having entertainment and music but should be a time when it quietens down to a level where people in thier rooms can sleep. All in all due to this we would never come back again and unless you want party party atmosphere almost all day long I would say DONT come to this hotel if you want some piece and quite it won't happen
