I had a really great stay at Tru by Hilton and would absolutely recommend it. The hotel was extremely clean from top to bottom — both the rooms and common areas were well-maintained and fresh, which made the whole experience comfortable and stress-free. What stood out the most to me was the staff. Everyone I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They made check-in smooth and were always available if I needed anything, which really elevated my stay. Overall, it was a great experience — clean, comfortable, and supported by an amazing team. I would definitely stay here again!

“Great place to stay!”

Great facility, rooms are modern and clean, the lobby is fresh and clean and the area around the hotel is kept nice as well. Great atmosphere. The staff could not be more friendly and the free breakfast was wonderful.

This is a decent hotel. On the positive side, our room was clean, the front desk was friendly, and the water pressure was excellent in the shower. This is a decent hotel. On the positive side, our room was clean, the front desk was friendly, and the water pressure was excellent in the shower. Our room was fully stocked with towels and cups and our toiletry bottles were full and smelled good. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the heating/ac was not terribly loud like you find in older hotels. Possibly this hotel was built or remodeled in the last 10 years? On the negative side, I could hear basically everything that went on in all the rooms around me—footsteps above, voices next door. There was a slight smell of mold in the third floor hallway although it looked new; there was a smell of pot by the side door both mornings we stayed there; and the rooms are quite small compared to most other Hilton hotels that I’ve stayed at. I put my suitcase on the bench that doubled as a closet and my small carryon bag took the entire surface. Once my daughter put hers on the other bench, there was basically just the small desk and the nightstand left for water bottles, keys, etc. I had never stayed in a Tru before so maybe this is how they are. But I would definitely not stay here with the whole family for reasons of space. Also, there is only service every other day here. I am not sure if I would stay here again.

While visiting our granddaughter who is attending Liberty University, we chose this hotel for its location. We flew into Lynchburg airport and it is very close. We were warmly welcomed at the desk arriving late on a Friday. The room was updated and clean. Although close to the elevator we found the noise to be very minimal on the third floor. We used the breakfast buffet one of our two mornings there and it was very well maintained. The staff seemed to enjoy working together, the area was kept clean and one woman even stopped to talk with us and asked if we were doing ok or needed anything.
