“Good, but could be better”

Stayed here a few times. Nice hotel as it is fairly new. Staff is friendly. Two issues: 1. Light fixture on desk did not work (and the rooms are a bit dark) 2. The hot water is not very hot. With a temperature of 2F outside, the shower was mildly lukewarm. I've had this issue EVERY time I've stayed at this hotel. Please adjust the thermostats in the showers and faucets so one can actually get some hot water.

“Really great property... with obvious staffing issues”

The facility is very nice. They do appear to be particularly short-staffed, however, and I would have easily given 5 stars IF the in-room refrigerator actually worked, there weren't dead light bulbs, and no opportunity for early check-in. The facility is very nice. They do appear to be particularly short-staffed, however, and I would have easily given 5 stars IF the in-room refrigerator actually worked, there weren't dead light bulbs, and no opportunity for early check-in. All of these factors support the notion that staffing issues perhaps enjoy a casual relation to these issues. The staff who were present were exceptionally nice and engaging. Breakfast was what you would expect. The bed was comfortable. The program selection on television was adequate. It was incredibly quiet, which made relaxation and sleep a non-issue. My only guidance is to check the refrigerator BEFORE YOU end up with spoiled cream for your morning in-room coffee.

“Clean hotel and in a convenient location”

I was a little disappointed in the quality of my room. I've stayed at Hampton Inn's many times. The bed, while comfortable, made loud squeaking and popping noises any time I moved. I was a little disappointed in the quality of my room. I've stayed at Hampton Inn's many times. The bed, while comfortable, made loud squeaking and popping noises any time I moved. It would wake me up when trying to sleep. I was in a room with 2 queen beds, and both beds had the exact same issue. I don't know if the frame the mattress was on was broken, or what was going on. The hotel was very clean. My room was clean as well as the breakfast area. Front desk staff were courteous. The hotel backs up to University of Oklahoma's airport so it was kind of neat to be able to watch planes take off and land. If that is something that interests you or your child, ask for a room facing the airport. The planes are small, so it wasn't loud. Actually, the air conditioning unit in the room was louder than the planes. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, but next time I'll double check the beds before unpacking and getting ready to go to sleep. The hotel is in a shopping/restaurant area, so there are plenty of shopping and food choices.
