“Great Hotel, Super Clean & Nice Staff”

We lucked out and got Room 113, which was oversized and offered a lot of room for 4 of us. The front desk staff were all so so so nice! Breakfast was good and the location worked well for us. Super close to Keeper of the Plains.

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel, including breakfast options; BUT, the breakfast flow is very congested & the waffle iron & syrup needs to be spread out from the rest of the hot breakfast options. Absolutely loved everything about this hotel, including breakfast options; BUT, the breakfast flow is very congested & the waffle iron & syrup needs to be spread out from the rest of the hot breakfast options. We really enjoyed the interesting, out of the ordinary hotel breakfast options, but they kept running out & it took a long time to replenish items. The hotel was booked nearly to capacity with baseball tournament, (we were with a family reunion) so it's hard to understand why they weren't prepared for a big breakfast crowd.

Good experience with this hotel. We had two separate rooms while traveling with family on a road-trip back from New Mexico to KC. The hotel is in a great location right in the heart of the historic Delano district across the river from Downtown. Easy access to the highway and to downtown attractions - especially the Windsurge minor league baseball stadium. Seemed to be a newer property and the rooms and facilities were in great condition. Our rooms were 221 & 228 on the second floor and the only issue was noisy neighbors (loud kids) next to 221 that was resolved in short order by the fun and personable night clerk downstairs (name starts with a K). Morning breakfast was good, although their yoghurt machine was out of commission. Did not make use of the pool or other facilities.

We were here for March Madness basketball, and this is about a 20 minute walk to the arena. The location worked well for our stay, and it is a fairly new property. It was stocked with towels and dishes. There were a few stray hairs in the bathroom and main room. The insulation is not good; we were on the third floor and heard people walking above us and thumping their suitcase in the early morning, water running, etc. which woke us up and kept us up. The breakfast did not look good so we skipped it. They did have welcome cookies for the basketball event and the games on in the lobby, which was a nice welcome. All front desk staff were very pleasant.
