This is our second time staying at this location in Cedar Rapids for a volleyball tournament. Both experiences has been phenomenal. We are really lucky to have a great housekeeper on our floor, Brandy. Complementary Breakfast was hot and fresh with a really good Different variety, which was really Good. The gal that checked Us in after lunch on Wednesday, November 20 was extremely nice and super helpful as well. These rooms are massive so if you have a family, this is the place to stay

The cons: The service here has changed over time. The staff, while pleasant, was less professional; the breakfast offerings had been scaled back substantially and were not as represented on the hotel signage; and housekeeping has been reduced to every other day. The pros: The rooms are clean, attractive and nicely furnished with full-size refrigerators, microwaves, coffeemakers and dishwashers. Beds are comfortable with good quality linens; the rooms are very quiet and generally pleasant. The area has lots of dining options and stores galore to pick up anything you might need; it is convenient to everything with easy access to the highway.

We were there 2 nights and the shower gel and tissues were at a minimum level so both ran out day 1…meaning those items weren’t checked. Breakfast was decent the first day, not so much the next. The usual Home2Suites however more attention to detail is needed. We were there 2 nights and the shower gel and tissues were at a minimum level so both ran out day 1…meaning those items weren’t checked. Breakfast was decent the first day, not so much the next. Two EV chargers on the back side of the hotel. Good location, plenty in the area. Hotel was fairly loud between the road noise and the air conditioning units. Worst was the total lack of water pressure. Our party had rooms on both the 2nd and 4th floors…both rooms were awful in terms of water pressure.

“Watch your step in the king rooms.”

Property has a nice layout. Clean. Friendly staff. I just couldn't believe they would have a king room laid out like it is. The bed is so close to the a/c that you have to walk sideways to get through. When I got up in the middle of the night, I did trip on it. Luckily I fell into the bed uninjured, but not cool at all. The rest of the room was okay. The breakfast was sub par. The area around this property has eating and shopping opportunities. Don't know if I would stay there again .
