Last week, my partner’s family came to visit from Florida, and without hesitation we chose Sirocco. We knew we could count on consistently great food, service, cocktails, and atmosphere — the perfect place to impress our guests. What we didn’t expect was a special on the menu: crab bruschetta. It was offered in addition to the regular menu, and we were told the whole restaurant was ordering it. After trying it, we understood why! I had never had crab bruschetta before, and now I’m spoiled. It was absolutely delicious — flavorful, fresh, and left you wanting more (which we did… we ordered a second round!). Some restaurants claim there’s crab in their dishes, and you find yourself searching for it. Not here. This dish delivered generous, beautiful lumps of crab in every bite. Sadly, I don’t think this will become a regular menu item, but we know we’ll keep coming back regardless. Sirocco’s menu is consistently delicious, and their drink and meal specials are a local’s dream — likely one of the best on the Rehoboth strip.

The Coast Hotel by Hilton is a boutique hotel located in the middle of the action in Rehoboth: close to the beach and boardwalk and near restaurants, bars and shops. Staff is friendly and helpful but a shout out for Patrick at the front desk who got our safe fixed right away and Stacey the waitress at breakfast both days were outstanding. Room was nice with exception of paper thin walls where we heard the loud dude next store talking on his phone for what seemed like hours several times during our stay. No luggage rack in room made no sense and neither did no room phone to call front desk. Breakfast was included (capped at $19) and it was good. Changed us $10 for parking - hit us with that day before arrival NOT MENTIONED in reservation. NOT COOL as other hotels don’t charge for their own lot. Toilet seat cheap and moved while sitting. Ice machine on 3rd floor was broken. We had made the reservation months ago and it was well worth what we paid (not sure it’s worth $200-250 more a night for in season price).
