I have to say that this was one of the best stays I have had in a long time. Clean, comfortable, friendly, quiet. The location is ideal for that part of LA. The hotel is a modernized/renovated motel with secure parking and a great vibe. Walking distance to eats and coffee. Not only do I recommend but the Bluestem will be my spot when visiting LA

“Great Hotel”

Best hotel experience. The Manager and staff are so nice. I was evacuated because of the Palisades fire and they took great care to make sure I was accommodated. Very clean, beautiful and safe. I will be back. Special thanks to Nicole at the desk.

My brother and I stayed here for a few nights when we were in town for our high school reunion. Everything was great. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, the lobby area was beautiful and the breakfast offered a nice selection. It wasn't a complimentary breakfast but the prices were extremely reasonable! Shout out to the staff for a job well done. Eroz and Nicole were super nice and made sure our check in and check out went smoothly. It was clear that they wanted to make sure our needs were met. The employee who managed the breakfast was also wonderful but I forgot to get her name. My only complaint is that the price was a little high ($218 with taxes and fees) but I would stay here again.

The room was very updated and clean, and it was well lit. The AC worked well. We had a mini-fridge (no freezer). There was only one chair in the room, and only two hangers. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of counter space. We did not like the sliding bathroom door. The hotel is on a busy street, but the room was not noisy. There is a nice courtyard with a seating area. The people working there were friendly and helpful. We had a good dinner within walking distance at the San Franciscan. The hotel does not offer breakfast, so we used the discount at a restaurant just down the street.
