I can highly recommend the Creekside Inn, Cambria, Ca. Our two night stay was easy to book. The location was close enough to town to walk to breakfast, the room was very clean with few toiletry amenities. No clutter. Just what we needed. My husband and I believe this was the quietest room we've ever stayed in. We'll book here on our next trip.

I was going to deduct a star for 3 reasons: 1) Room Key system was down - had to be let in by mgmt each time we left the room (it was fixed by 7pm) 2) ice machine broken (on Easter weekend? I was going to deduct a star for 3 reasons: 1) Room Key system was down - had to be let in by mgmt each time we left the room (it was fixed by 7pm) 2) ice machine broken (on Easter weekend? Are you kidding?) 3) 2 long hairs in the sink (do better housekeeping) - But… my daughter was with me and I had booked 2 rooms - 1 on the top floor and one bottom… however, Hugo upgraded us to balcony rooms (107, 108) so he gets major props for that. As mentioned, the rooms are very clean, the bed is soft, linens were nice. Keurig coffee machine. Shower temperature OK. Pressure OK. Towels would not fit around my waist. I’m not that fat. Actually, I’m not fat at all. They could use an upgrade. It’s literally less than a 1/4 mile to town and you MUST try Linn’s - do yourself a favor, just buy a jar of the Olallieberry jam - you will thank me for the rest of your life - If you get a downstairs room, you can definitely hear the neighbors walking upstairs, so choose your rooms wisely.

This is the second time we've stayed at Creekside Inn. The reasons for returning were positive first experience, great location, clean, spacious room, and a good parking lot. It was a perfect base to explore the Central Coast. We also enjoyed walking to downtown Cambria for delicious meals. The staff members were welcoming and answered all our questions. If we return to Cambria, we will definitely stay again.
