Georgia and Peter's welcome was as warm as the freshly baked bread they presented to us upon arrival. Our hosts happily baked a second loaf for us, when requested. Yum! The Blake's Mews suite was very private, comfortable and roomy, with an excellent bed. We were able to park directly outside, which was handy. Location is excellent for exploring Deloraine on foot (Platypus hunting!) or the region by car, and our 5 night stay will be extended to 10, next time we visit Tas. There is just so much to see and do in this gorgeous area. Very, very happy with all aspects of our stay here. Thanks guys! Andy and Jo.

The hosts, Georgia and Peter, were extremely welcoming and helpful in planning what to see in the region and where to eat in Deloraine. The property is situated in a very quiet area but close to shops & eating venues. The fabulous river walk was only about 100m away at the end of the street and we walked the loop trail each morning. Woolworths is even closer in the opposite direction. The property’s gardens were magnificent. We were given a generous breakfast hamper, including a delicious freshly baked loaf of home baked bread. We stayed in the Quamby Cottage which has lovely views of the surrounding countryside from both the kitchen and bedroom. It was lovely opening the curtains in the morning and letting the sun shine in. The cottage was very tastefully decorated in the heritage style. It was warm, had a good sized, well-heated bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. It had all the kitchen equipment that we needed and a full sized refrigerator. We will certainly return there when we next visit Tasmania.

First time to Tasmania and had no idea where to stay. Decided to stay out of Launceston but central to places we wanted to visit. Hit the jackpot when I found Blake’s Manor. Heritage building located within walking distance to the town centre. Deloraine is a delightful town with a range of shopping and food and beverage options. Our suite was perfect for our stay. The whole place is beautifully presented and the owners have thought of everything. We only stayed 3 nights but would have been happy to spend much longer. The owners are very welcoming and gave us some great tips regarding places to visit. Highly recommended.
