“A large luxury unit in quiet neighbourhood”

I just had a stay as a grand mother with her daughter and toddler. It was a Sunday overnight escape to see the Toowoomba Flower festival. The only drawback from the whole experience was that I didn’t receive the communication saying the room was ready 30minutes early! We were exhausted with an active child after the crowds. However, it worked out well when we found the delightful cafe “The Other Bird” two streets away with its beautiful grounds and delicious food. We even ordered a takeaway for our dinner. (I recommend their charcuterie board!) Pros: Our unit was 102 and it was beautiful. The aircon could be automated by a wall control unit and it had a well documented guest service book. The plush furnishings and obvious attention to comfort was evident from the moment we walked in. This unit had a covered veranda area with a clean, designer grassed area including garden seating . Perfect for our little toddler to play in. It was a very quiet neighbourhood on a Sunday too. There were quality block out curtains with an overlying floaty option, so that we could all sleep in comfort and privacy. The aircon was only needed briefly on arrival as the unit is well insulated. Beds were sooo comfortable. Cons: There were only one minor negative. That was the chair velvet furnishings were so soft and luxurious. (I knowwww, “Why is THIS a negative?” you ask.) - I am not sure I would recommend this unit for families with very active little babies or small children for any length of time as the owner takes obvious pride in the cleanliness and quality. It would be easy for children to stain the beautiful velvet and luxury cloth furnishings, if not supervised. All parents want to relax when on holiday and it just adds a level of needed vigilance. Recommendation to owners: The other thing that would be handy would be a luggage trolley for guests to load their suitcase on, to get from the garage to the lift and room. We had to make several garage trips which was tricky with a runaway toddler. Other than this, I highly recommend The Arbour for anyone wanting a luxury unit to simply relax and lose their cares away in a delightful country town.

“Beautiful accomodation and amazing hospitality”

“Spacious, great location ”

Easy booking process. Very clean comfortable accommodation. Free Parking on site. Great location opposite St Vincents hospital. Excellent cafe up the road for breakfast, lunch or just coffee.
