This was the first stop on a 6-night trek across Northern Michigan. Great Hotel! Clean, great location, great view, great amenities. Kids loved the pool / hot tub and game room. New fitness center was perfect. Lounge for evening drinks was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The only downside for us was that we only had one night at the hotel.

We stayed at this location for 3 nights and couldn't have been happier. The room was clean and comfortable and had a balcony with chairs overlooking the lake. We watched the sunrise each morning from our room. It was October and a little chilly so we weren't on the balcony like we would have been if it had been warmer - but there were plenty of nice, comfortable common places in the hotel to sit and see the lake, have a drink, and relax outside our room. The design of this hotel is well thought out. It has a nice common area with large windows overlooking the lake for the morning breakfast bar. The ladies attending to the breakfast bar did a top notch job - well stocked, cleaned up promptly after people's little spills, and were on top of it. There was a variety of items and the main dishes changed up every morning - this was a nice perk of the stay. This hotel has a loft area that we really enjoyed overlooking the lake, the downstairs common area, and leads out to a roof top bar that looked great - just not the right time of year to enjoy that. We did take advantage of the hot tub one evening with was large and again well maintained - overlooking the lake. I would come back to the area just to stay at this hotel! ha! ha!

“Immaculate hotel with tons of amenities.”

Best hotel in the Mackinaw area. Spotlessly clean, amazing comfortable beds, epic views, and a nice warm breakfast. Staff were so nice and accommodating . We will stay here now every time we visit the bridge area.

Room was clean and newer hotel. However pillows were the most flat and uncomfortable we have ever had in years of traveling. The stopper in sink did not work and elevator when pushing button would not open to go down. Pushed the opposite button to go up so we could get on, and once inside when pushing button for correct floor took about five times before it would light up to take us to lobby. All of these things were mentioned on checkout. On the positive side beautiful view of the Lake Huron. Has a great breakfast bar and coffee/tea area. The staff was friendly and indicated others had said something about pillows being uncomfortable and elevators had been reported for service. Hotel also has outside jacuzzi and areas to lounge or work above breakfast area of Lake Huron. Also, the hotel was quiet and was for multiple nights of one which was a Friday.
