“Great place to stay in SC.”

We have stayed in this hotel around New Years for the past several years. It continues to be one of the best ones out there. It is clean, well kept and in a quiet and very safe area. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was quite nice too. it is only a mile or so off I20.

Hubby and I selected this particular Hampton Inn and Suites because of its proximity to my brother who lives in Lexington. The location, while connected to the city environment, and on a main traffic strip, exudes tranquility. Left or right on the highway, the hotel is close to many eateries, stores, commercial centers, drug stores and a huge hospital, (we're elderly, so important!), and so much more. The hotel is a mix of comfort and luxury, with a welcoming vibe. From the moment we entered the lobby, the front desk staff welcomed us and made us feel special. The music, the coffee and treats nooks were delightful after a long trip. Our suite was spotless, decorated tastefully, wonderful king size bed. Best sleep I've had in a long time. It's evident that Housekeeping takes pride in their work and maintains a high standard of cleanliness. The fact that they provided antibacterial wipes for the TV remote was especially appreciated! I need to include honorable mention for: Regina - Front Desk- Regina was our first impression of The Hampton. Her welcoming was first rate and always maintain her friendly and professional demeanor all during our stay. Callie - Front Desk - Callie's sweet and polite nature was not overshadowed by her CS professionalism. Callie kept us apprised of a situation we had, which was happily resolved. Kathy Watts - Guest Services Manager - Ms. Watts was always available to speak with customers and was instrumental in helping resolve our situation. Excellent CS. Tammy - Breakfast Buffet Nook - What's better than being greeted with a bright smile, followed by a delicious breakfast buffet? Tammy kept the breakfast nook beautifully organized . The dining area was sparkly clean. And she always made sure everyone was comfortable.

Stayed here on way to and from our recent trip. Hotel is in safe area and there were no concerns stopping at this location. Hotel was clean, and the rooms were modern and nice. Bed slept alright, and had everything I would expect at hotel of this caliber. Free WiFi, free breakfast bar, smart tv, etc There was ample parking, small “snack” style shop by front desk, and an outdoor pool. I would stay here on future trips through the area.

This building is 5 years old, but it looks like new. It was spotlessy clean, the room looked perfect, and we noticed the staff painting trim to improve the appearance. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (something we experienced throughout South Carolina). The outdoor pool was little on the small size; perhaps OK for a few couples, but not a horde of screaming/splashing kids. The fitness center was adequate. The breakfast was OK and about what you’d expect at a hotel in this price range; however, again, spotlessly clean and well restocked.
