The only reason I didn’t give a 5/5 is the bathroom shower around the bottom needs some attention / bleach. All other things were really good. Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. Breakfast was good. Omelettes 2 kinds , potatoes , turkey sausage, biscuits , gravy , cinnamon rolls , breads, bagels, and a really neat mini pancake maker. Bed and pillows were awesome. Ac /heat worked great. The window has a room darkening blind. My sister has stayed here before. But I would definitely stay again.

“Nice, comfortable hotel. Cold breakfast”

The hotel was very nice, room was very comfortable. Breakfast was the disappointment. Was down at 0800 and everything was cold. There was no artificial sweetener. Packaged items vs freshly made. (Oats, grits) It didn't measure up to its other hotels.

We have stayed at this hotel since its grand opening. We visit 6-10x per year. The past 2 visits, we have been sad to see the hotel falling into disrepair. The drawers had been pulled iff their hinges and missing, broken clock, lights and thermostat (room 208) we notified the hotel with no response. It is disheartening to see issues such as this which are simple fixes of regular maintenance, yet no one has taken the initiative. It makes me sad, as this really is the best hotel in Asheboro in my opinion. The location is good, a stoplight is desperately needed due to the proximity to restaurants and shopping. It is clean! I actually enjoy coming into a room smelling cleansers, that us peace of mind! But shower mold, due to missing caulk, broken lights and drawers had me worried we would be charged if we didn't report these areas of concern.

Have to say we chose Holiday Inn because we had a good stay at another one. But this one had a few drawbacks. First was the hair in the shower. Even after it was cleaned again, there were still stray hairs - we were told it was probably from the cleaners themselves. If this is so, they should be wearing hairnets. And the air inside the room is so dry, I woke up with a bloody nose each morning. It was a relief to get outside even if the temperature was freezing. The breakfasts were good, but how about some adult choices for cereal - like granola??? And there was no excuse for running out of orange juice one morning, plus the pancake machine was broken for all 3 of our days there. I guess it's hit or miss when you choose a hotel. All you can do is go to one you've had a good experience at and hope for the best.
