Our fourth stay here and just as good every time. The staff , both front of house and housekeeping, are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Our fourth stay here and just as good every time. The staff , both front of house and housekeeping, are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Very spacious, comfortable room with lots of space. A good wine list, Black Sheep beer and excellent dinner for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Particular thanks to our Sunday evening dining room manager who specially located a heavenly soufflé for us and the chef who came back to cook it. Being here felt like coming home. Thanks to all.

Our first visit to this beautifully decorated restaurant, very relaxed atmosphere. Very varied menu, reasonably priced with great value weekday lunch deal. Good choice of wines and ales and an interesting cocktail menu. Our food was beautifully presented and the portions very generous. The staff were friendly and very efficient - shout outs to Karen and Rachel ! Plenty of parking at rear and good disabled access. Beware when posting a review - my original one was posted on the old Best Western site 🤔

Ohimè sto scrivendo questo a mezzanotte con musica da un party giardino:l'fuori. La mia camera - seconda scelta in quanto il primo era sulla strada principale con il rumore del traffico - sarebbe confortevole se non per il rumore del partito! Lati positivi - personale eccellente non poteva fare abbastanza per me. Spostato la mia camera e ho cercato di capire pixilating tv" (che non poteva essere risolto) con un sorriso e bicchiere di vino. Il cibo è assolutamente di prima classe favolosamente fresco e veniva presentato.. La camera è pulita e semplice - e Wifi gratuito. Avevo una camera superior articoli da toeletta molto essenziale ma niente di speciale. Nessun frigo, mini bar e cassetta di sicurezza. Piccola saponetta e piccoli contenitori di shampoo e gel doccia. Essenziale per preparare te' e caffe' ok. E' ore 12.15 am e devo dire che è musica ha smesso giusto un sabato notte I guess - rumore da parte festaioli ancora in corso. Posso consigliare questo posto per cibo e personale.

“Expensive drinks and bordering rude”

Met here with friends for drinks. The Bar area is tired tatty and wall paper scuffs throughout. Drinks, served by brusk unfriendly lady, all the right words but not in a polite way at all. Met here with friends for drinks. The Bar area is tired tatty and wall paper scuffs throughout. Drinks, served by brusk unfriendly lady, all the right words but not in a polite way at all. Lager £6.90 ! Wine nice but nearly £10. We only stayed as friends had a meal booked later. As we live near we pop in adhoc but the factors mentioned above it will be a long time before I part with money here. Shame as it’s getting really tired and should be so much more. Try the bar manager at the Grantham Arms near by, polite friendly and as it should be. Can do better sadly.
