Despite COVID-induced difficult times, my wife and I were treated to a spectacular holiday experience in the beautiful Greater Kruger. The Klaserie Sands team exceeded our expectations on every level - from the bush walk safaris to magnificent dining experiences. The beautiful scenery and the experience and expertise of the rangers and trackers rekindled our love for the bushveld. We were treated like royalty and cannot wait to return to this little piece of paradise on earth!

Amazing few nights at Klaserie Sands Safar Trails. Authentic bush experience with well appointed tents in an unfenced camp, located in a beautiful and isolated area that gives a true unplugged experience. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Personal feel. Highly recommended.

The team was so lovely - the booking process and information provided from Carmen was so easy and helpful and arriving was even better! Isolated area in the bush along a river bed and it is so special to not have other lodges/vehicles close by - we got to really switch off as there is no reception and got to make the most of spending time together and taking in all the bush has to offer in the beautiful area the camp is located! It is wonderful as it’s all eco run with solar panels and used filtered bore hole water! The tents are STUNNING with a shower indoors and one out doors to gaze among the stars as you wash off the sweat from the day! The luxury tents each have your own balcony among the trees, sitting on the edge of the river bed and are spaced out far enough to feel isolated! They have done it well as there is only about 4/5 tents so it dosent feel crowded and gives you that personal experience. Candle lit dinners with a fire every night, delicious food, Liberty is an amazing, AMAZING chef! Our guide and tracker, Matt and Cuzy provide a great experience and focused on all things big and small in the bush and we where lucky enough to see the elusive leopard during our stay! We enjoyed walks in the morning through the bush which was such a peaceful experience and then drives in the afternoon with a stop watching the sunset whilst enjoying a cold beverage! The tents and lodge feel like luxury without overdoing it / taking away from the beauty of the bush - it’s done simply but absolutely beautifully! We spent the heat of day lazing by the pool with endless gin and tonics, swimming, reading and watching the birds and wildlife around the lodge and of course a few day time naps as we where relaxed to the max! Flo, who handled front of house was so friendly and kind, anything we needed the whole team was ready to help and made our experience so special - from surprise champagne and candles one evening while watching the sunset... where we actually saw hyena walk by, and also a romantic bush dinner for my partner’s birthday where we sat under the stars in a river bed surrounded by candles and a bucket of wine ... and of course more delicious food that was done so well and catered amazingly for my allergies - best food we have ever had! Thanks so much to the all those involved in making our experience so special, we had a wonderful time!
